AT WHAT TEMPERATURE SHOULD COSMETIC PRODUCTS BE STORED?

Cosmetic products can be stored at room temperature or in the fridge, but not all of them!

SKIN CLEANSERS:

Foams, gels, foams can be stored in the fridge. If you use micellar water or biphasic (containing oil molecules), it should not be refrigerated. We know that oil thickens at cool temperatures, so this two-phase make-up remover can also become thicker, darker.

LOTIONS/TONICS/SERUMS/CREAMS:

If these products do not contain hyaluronic acid, retinol or acids, they can be kept in the fridge or in a colder room. For example, hyaluronic acid is water-based, so we do not recommend applying hyaluronic acid serums in the morning during winter, and only include them in your evening skincare routine.

APPLICATION MASKS:

These products should even be refrigerated. As soon as you apply the applicator mask, and it is cold, it gives the skin a cryotherapy effect. Cryotherapy in beauty care is recognised by the controlled application of cold to reduce rosacea/redness and puffiness, as well as to tone and rejuvenate the skin.

ACCESSORIES FOR FACIAL MASSAGE:

If you have Cryosticks or other accessories that have a metal casing, it is recommended to keep them cold. However, before using Cryosticks and touching your face, take them out of the fridge and leave them at room temperature for about 5min or warm them with lukewarm water. If you apply the accessories too cold, you may get nerve frostbite.

IMPORTANT! Never leave cosmetics in direct sunlight. Always make sure you take cosmetic products with you from your car during the winter months to prevent them from freezing. If a product has been frozen and then thawed, its function and effectiveness will be significantly reduced.
